The Modern Table

The Modern Table event at the Michigan Design Center is a celebration of creativity, showcasing over 30 meticulously crafted tabletop displays. Admission to this exclusive event is a non-perishable food item or a donation of your choice, supporting the Gleaners Community Food Bank, which has been nourishing communities in southeast Michigan since 1977.

Among the captivating tables, Cercan Tile presents the enchanting 'Pearl of Your Dreams,' a creation by Wendy Arabo and RMR Interiors. Inspired by the splendor of Pearl and Antonio's first date, the table reflects the majestic beauty of Mother of Pearl. Known as the 'Jewel of the Sea,' Mother of Pearl introduces an element of elegance and intrigue with its luminescent color tones and hues when intricately incorporated into mosaics.

The table design unfolds the story of Our Lady Pearl, capturing the essence of Mother of Pearl in her dress as she anticipates her date with Antonio.
